Medusa started out as a charity piece for the Emerald City Comic Con. A simple piece, but one that stuck in my brain. It grew from the kernel of what myths do we know that could be created from millennia of misogyny. Once I latched on to that, Medusa was born. It finally came out, and on to the board, when I had a wait between scripts. I had to get it out. Below are the eight pages I created, with the immense help of Stephanie Cooke, Taylor Esposito, and Brian Hanzel. I pitched it to Dark Horse, expecting a quick, but polite, no. I was shocked to find that they wanted to do it, and after working at it, created the original graphic novel, coming out from Dark Horse, this October. Enjoy the pages below, and thank you.
